You know we have covered a whole bunch of application launchers here. But reader Viki points out a clever and much easier approach for launching frequently used programs without having to use any 3rd party launchers.
According to him, simply create a shortcut for the program or file and name it the way you want. Move it to the main Windows folder and you are almost done. Now just hit Win + R key to open RUN dialog box, type the name of the shortcut and hit Enter. The program will launch instantly.

I know many of you geeky users might have figured this out already, but for the rest of those who use Windows this is definitely a handy little tip. Enjoy!
