@Tori, with your document open, go to File > Save & Send > Save to Web, sign in with your Live or Hotmail login. It should show you your current Skydrive folders, as well as the option to create a new folder (launches browser for that). Select the folder then click Save.

I have office 2010 and it does not offer either the “share” or the “save to skydrive” options. Can I download an add-in or is there a way to activate these in the options? This is driving me crazy!!!
