I came across Googleman while browsing blindly through different apps. According to the developer, it is a fun and pointless application that launches google.com in style of the Batman 60s TV Show, complete with spinning Google logo and sound effects. Sound’s cool , right? Since I was a big fan of retro Batman TV shows, I couldn’t miss this app.
It is a very small portable app, just run the executable file and it will load in the system tray instantly.
Now to open google.com in style you can do any one of the following:
- Double click the icon
- Press Windows Key + G
- Right-click the icon and select ‘To The Google Cave’.
So what exactly happens? Well your screen will start rotating for 2 seconds and it would feel like you have entered a Google time machine which is going to take you back to 1960s. Google Search will obviously open in the end. I took a screenshot of my desktop while it was still rotating.
Next time your friend or co-worker asks you to ‘Google’ something, you can open Google Search just like Batman would do it.
