KUninstall – Portable Uninstaller For Windows

Even though Windows 7 has lots of improved features, the program uninstaller feature has been left largely untouched. We all know that most software after being uninstalled still leave traces behind in registry and elsewhere.

This is why most users prefer to install 3rd part program uninstallers. One of the most used uninstaller is Revo Uninstaller but I prefer using KUninstall since it is faster, portable, and scans your computer for left over files.

The latest version scans for leftover registry keys, files, and folders, allows users to sort program by any column and provide detailed information panel.

Just run the executable file, select the program that you want to uninstall and hit Uninstall button. It will then show a dialog asking you to start uninstall, explore the folder, or scan for leftover items.

Publisher information, along with version number and installation date is shown at the bottom of the screen. One feature that I have started liking is the Finder feature, just drag the Finder icon and drop it on any program, it will then show a new dialog with options to explore, uninstall, close window, and kill process.

It is a portable tool and works on all versions of Windows, including the latest Windows 7. Enjoy!

I've tried a lot of different uninstallers in the past and finally stopped on portable Revo. And the best and most reliable combo for uninstalling stubborn stuff is Revo+Unlocker, imho.

Revo also scans your computer for left over files!
But nothing is perfect, and no software is ideal, so I guess I'll give KUninstall a try. Thanks for the article.
