Keep Focused is another tool similar to our previously reviewed focus booster which is developed on the same plane, offering pomodoro technique to get your work done quickly. The application is however not that much appealing as focus booster but offers minimal set of features to list down tasks that you will be working on. One novel option for accessing all the tasks in plain text format is also provided, it can also save your todo list in a TXT format, so you can easily view to-do list and make amendments whenever required.
The application workability is based on performing a task in sessions, it splits all the work sessions in 25 minutes slots, so at the end of the day you can review the cumulative time spent over defined tasks. For first time, it requires you to enter the task details with all relevant details, you can also change the Data File name and location.
Once task is defined, you will see an on-screen countdown indicator, displaying total time left in finishing the task. Taking breaks between sessions is also essential, a click besides countdown area will cease the timer, letting you enable it back again anytime.
Overall, Keep Focused offers a simple yet efficient way for tracking time spent on tasks and projects. It works on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. Testing was done on Windows 7 x64 system.
