Hello,
I am using Windows 7 , i had secured my disk write protected,
i.e Right click on any disk -> security-> edit-> unselect the box with write option.
After this was done the disk access will be denied, after this was done accidentally i pressed defragment disk and now i have lost all the data in it, 45GB disk now shows (0 GB data 0 GB empty), can anyone please help how to recover it.
with regards,
chethan

The Windows’ built-in disk defragmenter does an okay job, but a third-party, professional tool is often the better choice. Check out this post: http://bit.ly/QzutN.
