Recover Your Windows 7 Product Key

You will always find a sticker at the bottom of a newly purchased laptop where the Windows product key will be given. But what if the sticker comes off and you want to reinstall Windows 7? It is recommended that you note down the product key on a piece of paper or notepad but what if you forgot to do it? Don’t fret yet, in case your serial number gets lost, it is still possible to recover both the Product ID and Product Key.

Before reinstalling Windows, you can give ProduKey a shot. It is a free tool from Nirsoft, that recovers the complete product key information for installed Windows, MS Office, Exchange Server, and SQL Server software which have been legitimately purchased.

As you can see from the screenshot above, it revealed the product key of genuinely purchased and installed Windows 7 Ultimate operating system.
