  1. you need to download root explorer.
    Get a modded 3e recovery.

extract it and copy recovery on your sd card via usb cable.
Now open root explorer and copy the recovery from the sd card to system/bin.
accept the overwrite option and reboot device.
now you can proceed with the Rom Manager procedure

  2. The ROM Manager technique does not work. Judging from forums, I’m not the only one who has trouble with this. It always just reboots into 3e.

  3. when I select “reinstall packages”, I get a error that says: “E: failed to verify whole-file signature. E: signature verification failed. Installation aborted.”… why??? :s

    • i ran into the same problem. my mistake was that i didnt extract the file “recovery” in the recovery.zip. THAT is what you need to copy to /system/bin.
      hope this helps.

    • where is the /system/bin/ i cant seem to locate it, and how do i get there in case im looking in the wrong spot??
