Create Stylized Thumbnail Preview Sheets For All Images In A Folder

Among the many advantages of internet is the platforms it offers to artists or photographers to sell their work independently without having to sign on to a label or publication. It’s a good practice that not only lets others buy media for their own websites, blogs and magazines at affordable rates, but also rewards the sellers with decent compensation in return for their hard work. If you’re an artist, photographer or designer who wants to share their work by giving others a glimpse of their creativity without really showing their full work due to the fear of plagiarism, Snap2IMG can come pretty useful. This portable application allows you to create thumbnail sheets of images and can come handy under various scenarios such as viewing a photo collection, publishing image thumbnails on photo sharing websites, or simply taking preview printouts for huge albums.

Thumbnails can be created in a multitude of ways. The interface of Snap2IMG lets you configure different settings regarding how you want to see the output. The Basic Setup tab of the application window allows to select the source directory that contains all the images for which you want to create the thumbnails. You can also choose whether you want to create the thumbnails from the selected directory only, or include all sub-folders as well. The application lets you select the output format between JPEG and PNG. Other than that, you can specify thumbnail size and number of total images in each row.

The Spacing tab – as the name implies – lets you specify the horizontal and vertical spacing between thumbnails, in addition to configuring the overall page margin. There’s also a Text tab that lets you add information like date, path or time to the header or footer areas of the thumbnail sheet. Not only can you enable or disable these options, but you can also configure their pertaining settings such tags style (path, folder, time, date etc.), font, positioning, and so on.

Lastly, the Styling tab contains options for adding borders to the thumbnails and lets you configure the border thickness and color. You can also select a custom background color for the thumbnail sheet. There an Advance menu at the top here that allows changing render quality of the images from nearest neighbor, bilinear, bicubic, hqbilinear and hq bicubic.

The application also lets you preview the thumbnail sheets prior to saving them. This feature is quite handy if you want to tweak the settings some more before saving the final output.

The application works on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. Both 32-bit and 64-bit OS editions are supported.
