How To Adjust Your Computer’s Display With Time Of The Day Using F.lux

F.lux is a free cross-platform tool that adjusts your computer’s display with time of the day. You will have notice that a computer’s display usually looks better during the day,t he problem arises at night when the screen is too bright. The developer sums up the problem in a simple sentence,

During the day, computer screens look good—they’re designed to look like the sun. But, at 9PM, 10PM, or 3AM, you probably shouldn’t be looking at the sun.

Once installed, it will automatically start in the system tray and your display will change according to the time of the day. Just tell this program the type of lightning you have and the place where you live, then forget about everything. It will do the rest automatically.

You can also disable this tool for an hour if you want to do some color sensitive work. Click on Change Settings to adjust your lightning for both day and night, you can also set your location by entering your latitude or zip code.

When finished, press Done. It took about 4MB of system resources on my computer to run, which I believe is a small amount when compared with other similar tools. Enjoy!
