Scribd Brings Its Mammoth Online Documents Library To iPhone
Everyone who has ever done some serious research (and by that, we mean looking beyond Wikipedia) is sure to know all about Scribd. The service boasts of one of the biggest collection of scholarly and other documents, contributed by people from all walks of life. Until now, using Scribd from your iPhone wasn’t easy, as the service didn’t have an iOS app. Fortunately, the official Scribd app for iPhone has been released today, and now you can manage your Scribd account on the go, and even if you are not a registered user of the service, it is possible to use the app to read any document you want. Like the web version of Scribd, the app has a featured section and you can search for any keyword you want, too. It is also possible to maintain your reading lists, and bookmark items right from within the app.
