Note: This tip is for those who wants to take extra precautions, otherwise if you keep your wordpress up-to-date, you will remain secure as far I know.
I know that the title of this post is a bit comprehensive, but it pretty much explains what I am talking about. Hiding your wordpress version is the first step in keeping your blog secure and I recommend that everyone should do this to keep themselves safe from amateur hackers.
