System And Network Administrators who work on networks with hundreds of computers often find it difficult to trace the range of IP addresses currently in use. I have personally worked on such a network and despite the fact that we had VLANs (Virtual LANs) to ensure that the hundreds of connected systems were never short of an IP range, yet it was often difficult to track what IPs were in use. As the setup on that network was VOIP based, therefore if e.g. 20 computers were connected to a VLAN, there were 20 IPs reserved from the same range for SIP phones (connected to each computers). For example, if a computer had the IP 10.10.10.1, the SIP phone had the IP 10.10.10.2. This meant that many IP ranges were constantly in use. On such networks it is not always easy to keep a documentation of the active IPs. At the same time when a new IP is to be assigned, one might have to Ping several IPs or check them from a server, in order to determine available IPs. How To Reinstall Trial Software After Trial Period Has Expired

One of our reader asked a simple question, “Do you have any idea how to reinstall trial software? (after trial period)?” A simple Google search shows that most people are looking for it’s solution. I have two methods which you can try, one of them should definitely work.

Method 1: Backing Up Registry

Most trial software add a key in your system registry by tweaking it. When you uninstall a software after it’s trial period has expired, all files are deleted except the keys in the registry. Therefore when you try installing it again, it detects the key and gives you a message like for e.g, “Your trial period has expired”. So the best way is to make a backup of the registry before installing any trial software. And when finally your trial has expired, you can uninstall the software, restore backup and try installing the software again. Apart from your own photos, you have the ability to display photos of your contacts, your favorites or a from a group or global tag.
