If you are developing a website, or doing any other designing project, picking colors from such a huge range for designing graphics is not an easy task. Choosing the right or wrong color can mean the success and failure of your project. Previously, we have covered a lot of color picking applications, such as Instant Color Picker, an application for Windows that has 6 different and unique shade extraction tools, allowing you to find the right color shade, and Just Color Picker, an application with a host of color picking features to view, as well as customize chosen colors to fit your design. Today, we have another great color picker called ColorMania. It is an advanced utility for picking colors that is created especially for web-designers, graphic artists and application developers. ColorClock: Customize Time & Date Color On iPhone Lock Screen [Cydia]

Yesterday we covered a Cydia tweak by the name of LockDate that allows users to personalize the lockscreen of their iOS device by making almost any change to the date displayed on an iPhone when the screen is locked. If you used that tweak, you might have noticed that it left the lockscreen time looking pretty forlorn and unattended. Looks like we weren’t the only ones to notice that, as today ColorClock has been released, which will allow you to change the color of the lockscreen date as well as time. The best thing about the tweak is the range of colors that you can choose for the time display, as ColorClock lets you change the clock’s color with the help of RGB value sliders, thus allowing a staggeringly vast number of colors to be used on the lockscreen of your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. Folder Colorizer: Change Icon Color Of Any Folder In Windows

While searching through a huge number of folders, it is common for users to miss the one thing that they are looking for. This is due to the fact that, when faced with a lot of similar looking items, the ones with the same color are categorized together by the human brain. The default yellow color for folders chosen by Microsoft to be used in Windows Explorer is pleasing to the eyes, but it also makes differentiating between all the folders a difficult task. Whenever you look inside a folder containing a large number of sub folders, they all look the same to you because they are of the same color. What i have done to tackle that problem is choose a different icon for all the frequently used icons, but that requires you to separately access the settings of each folder and change their icon. It can be quite useful, however, if the number of folders is huge, it can turn out to be quite a tedious task. Folder Colorizer is an application for Windows that enables you to easily categorize and differentiate folders from each other by applying a different color to each folder, straight from the right click context menu of folders. More on Folder Colorizer after the break. Identify Colors Detected From Mouse Cursor With Colorblind Assistant

This time we have another useful application for people suffering from color blindness, labelled Colorblind Assistant. It detects colors from your mouse pointer by providing you with a written name of the color on which your cursor is placed. Moreover, it also provides other useful data about the color, such as the RGB (Red, Green and Blue) values, bar graphs, brightness and saturation.
