How To Permanently Root The HTC Sensation 4G
No Android device is truly an Android till it has been rooted, something iPhone users refer to as jailbreaking. HTC Sensation 4G is HTC’s hottest Android device as of right now, and in the hands of experienced Android users, it is easily one of the best phones out there. Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread Ported To HTC Sensation [Work In Progress]
Things are moving pretty fast for HTC Sensation after Revolutionary set it’s bootloader free from HTC’s shackles. Xboarder56, Recognized XDA Developer, is in the process of porting AOSP Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread on S-OFF’d and rooted HTC Sensation. So far the development isn’t much of a discussion point with only Wi-Fi and Screen working. But with able devs like Xboarder, T-Junk and redbullcat already in the process of completing the port, we believe that 2.3.5 will soon get implemented on Sensation in it’s true spirit.

Permanent Temp Root For HTC Sensation Now Available
Although HTC announced unlocked bootloaders for HTC Sensation, we still have to see any materialistic or seeable development in this regard from HTC. The quest for gaining permanent root privileges on HTC Sensation is gathering pace as there are developers who are trying really hard to make their temp root stick for a while. The latest effort in this regard came from Android Spin Forums senior member Eugene, who has released a “Permanent Temp Root a.k.a Perma Temp Root” that sticks while you hack away bloatware and install stuff needing SU and busybox without the fear of them getting deleted.
