SaveGameBackup is a free utility for every gamer out there to easily backup and restore large collection of games. The database is constantly updated by the developer to support latest games, including Call Of Duty: Black Ops, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Civilization 5, and many more. The reason behind the development of this tool, according to the developer, is that it makes it easier to migrate saved games to a new computer.
To create backup for a game go to the Backup tab and select the folder that contains the specific game(s). SaveGamebackup automatically picks up supported games from a selected directory. By default, it also detects all installed Steam games. To save a backup, pick the installed games from the list and hit Backup.
To restore a backup, go to the Restore tab and load the saved backup file from the respective directory.
The Options tab also contains an exception option that can be used to exclude certain game and file types. To add an exception, select the name of the game and click on the Move button on the left hand side menu. Similarly, use the Move button on the right hand side menu to remove a game from the ignore list.
