Watch UFC 225: Whittaker vs Romero 2 Online and With Kodi

The upcoming UFC 225 match promises to be a big one: New Zealand’s Robert Whittaker will take on Cuba’s Yoel Romero in the middleweight title fight. Whittaker, aka “The Reaper”, is standing with an impressive 20-4-0 record, while “Soldier of God” Romero is at 13-2-0. The two contestants are evenly stacked in terms of height, weight, and reach, so this rematch will be down to psychology and skill more than physical presence.

The match is taking place on Saturday 9th June, but it won’t be easy to find it on cable unless you have a dedicated boxing channel as part of your subscription. Read on for full instructions about how to watch UFC 225: Whittaker vs Romero 2 online using the official UFC Pay Per View channel or the Kodi media center software.

Watch UFC Fights Live With A UFC Pay Per View Subscription

The most straightforward way to watch UFC on demand is through an official pay per view subscription. This is a great choice if you’re a big UFC fan who likes to watch fights frequently who wants to support the sport as well as the channels that show it. The official streaming service from UFC is called ufc.tv, where you can either purchase a pass to stream a single fight or you can get a monthly pass to watch all of the fights occurring in throughout that time period.

The advantage of an official pay per view subscription is that you’ll get the fight in top quality without having to worry about rooting around the internet to find a stream. After all, even the best unofficial streaming services have problems with streams that don’t work or are of poor quality. If you can afford an official subscription, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better streaming experience than what UFC PPV offers.

To get an official pay per view subscription for the UFC 225 fight, just head to https://www.ufc.tv/video/ufc-225 for information about the match. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you’ll see a Start your subscription link where you can sign up.

Watch UFC With Add-ons For The Kodi Media Centre Software

At AddictiveTips, we love Kodi, which is an open source media centre that can be installed on a wide range of devices to stream… well, almost anything! It is originally designed to organise and view the media files that you already have on your device, but thanks to a plethora of third-party software, Kodi’s capability as a streaming solution can be vastly expanded. These community-created add-ons enable new functionalities like watching YouTube, watching Twitch, watching live sporting events, listening to music, or even singing karaoke!

But what is relevant for us today is the ways that you can use Kodi add-ons to watch live UFC fights, even without a cable subscription or a subscription to a paid streaming service. There are many such add-ons to choose from, but today we’re going to show you two of the best you can use to catch the UFC 225 rematch.

Always Use A VPN With Kodi

While Kodi is free and legal to use, sports broadcasters and ISPs alike have taken a dim view of the service. In fact, they’ve been known to levy preemptive countermeasures against anyone using the service, regardless of what they’re doing with Kodi. That means sticking to official, legal streams isn’t enough to guarantee your safety.

What does work to lock down your security is a Virtual Private Network. A VPN is a piece of software which installs onto your device in order to encrypt all inbound and outgoing internet traffic. Your data stream is then routed through an anonymous proxy server located anywhere in the world except for where you actually are. When taken together, these features ensure that no third party can ever know what it is you’re doing online, where you’re doing it from, or even who you are.

IPVanish – Best For Kodi Users

The best VPN provider for Kodi users is IPVanish due to its extremely fast speed connections, which are perfect for streaming live sporting events in high definition. With impenetrable 256-bit AES encryption, a strict no-logging policy, automatic kill switch, DNS leak protection and a suite of other security features, you’ll never have to worry about snoopers again. On top of all this, your subscription to IPVanish gains you access to a massive network of proxy servers (over 950 located in 60 countries worldwide), which offer fast and stable connections no matter where you connect. Finally, the software can be installed on a variety of platforms including Windows, Mac OS, Android, Linux, iOS, Windows Phone, iOS and even the Amazon Fire TV.

IPVanish offers a 7-day money back guarantee which means you have a week to test it risk-free. Please note that Addictive Tips readers can save a massive 60% here on the IPVanish annual plan, taking the monthly price down to only $4.87/mo.

There’s no doubt Yoel Romero will win but this is going to be a great match. I already have Kodi so won’t have any problems watching other matches too. Btw, I use Nordvpn with it, wouldn’t recommend to use Kodi without any vpn as I heard sometimes hackers try to steal random peoples private data.
