PowerPoint 2011 For Mac Review: What’s New?
Undoubtedly Microsoft PowerPoint stands out among the list of presentation programs available out there. Like Windows-based Office 2010 includes new features in PowerPoint, Mac-based PowerPoint 2011 has also been improvised with new features, tools, and functions, eventually provides best environment for creating presentations.
To get you started with newer PowerPoint version, firstly you will be asked to choose a template, from the big list of built-in presentation templates. Like it’s counterparts, it also includes fluent UI (User Interface) ribbon, proving all the essential presentation tools, groups and galleries right up front.
Along other improvements, it includes VB language support for controlling presentations. Through Macros feature you will be able to make more cohesive presentations. With enhanced SmartArt graphics, you will be able to instantly insert complex diagrams like: organization charts, Venn diagrams etc. Adding more, under SmartArt tab, you can easily manipulate graphics through changing colors, design and styles.
Under Transitions tab; you can choose an effect from multiple new transition effects, set duration and change effect options, and add sound etc. Along with new Ribbon improvements, you will also be able to change the ribbon items, groups, commands and tab order.
Another flamboyant feature is inclusion of more enriched Themes, now you will easily change the presentation theme. Under Themes tab, you will find list of groups, having multiple options to add theme, colors, font styles, backgrounds, and importantly create & save customized theme instantly.
