BeatMod BlissSense ROM Brings Sense 3.5 To myTouch 4G [Download]

Finally there is some great news for HTC myTouch 4G users as Sense 3.5 integrated custom ROM is now available. BeatMod BlissSense ROM, based on Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread with HCT Sense UI has been recently released on XDA forums by ZFr3eak and sbryan12144. The ROM comes with some great speed tweaks along with Ext-4 support and is the only Bliss port for myTouch 4G that is truly ad-free. Apart from this, the ROM is fully zip aligned, pre-rooted with scores of crap-ware removed to optimize user experience.

Here is the complete list of features from the ROM developers:

    • Android 2.3.4 with Sense 3.5 leaked for HTC Bliss (thanks to capy for base)
    • Cleaned up
    • Speed tweaks
    • Ext4 Support
    • Rooted
    • Busybox
    • Fully Ad-Free
    • Spareparts
    • Fully Zipaligned
    • Deodexed
    • Beatmod Bootanimation
    • Removed unless things
    • Multilanguages
    • OC Daemon
    • Added some apps

Like all other initial ports, this version of BlissSense ROM for myTouch 4G has some issues which are listed below:

    • No Bluetooth Connectivity
    • Non Functional FM Radio
    • Wi-Fi Hotspot Not Enabled
    • Problems With General Wi-Fi Connectivity

Although the above listed issues are of primary nature, but we believe that due to consistent developer support, new versions of the ROM will eventually evolve free from these issues.

In order to install this HTC Sense 3.5 UI’d ROM on your myTouch 4G, you will need to have root on your device along with ClockworkMod Recovery installed. After completing the flashing pre-requisites, you can download the latest version of this ROM and then flash it through ClockworkMod Recovery like any other ROM. It is important to understand that you will need to make a full Ext 4 Wipe before you flash the ROM using install zip from SD Card option in recovery. For best performance of the ROM on your myTouch 4G, start App Swapper as soon as you complete installing / flashing the ROM and then enable Active Swap on Boot followed by choosing your desired swap size. By default the swap size is set at 200 MB which should be enough for your daily needs.
