The latest version of CyanogenMod based on Android 2.3 Gingerbread has been released earlier today for T-Mobile myTouch 3G Slide. It is in alpha at the moment but based on the user response, it has proven to be suitable enough for daily use. This nightly build offers all the goodies you would expect from CyanogenMod. It is rooted, fast, stable and offers a lot of extra features that aren’t present in the stock ROM and even most custom ROMs. As this release is based on Gingerbread, it also includes Gingerbread goodies like the spectacular CRT style screen-off animation.

The installation procedure is pretty standard and hasn’t changed from that of the previous CyanogenMod builds so you should be familiar with it if you have installed one in the past.
