Subzero is rightly billed as an all-in-one Kodi addon. However, you’ll find it heavy on specific content, namely boxing, MMA, and other combat sports, along with a healthy helping of adult-oriented cartoons. Today, we’re going to be taking a look at the interface, installation process, content options, along with a way to stay safe when using Kodi. Read on!
Disclaimer – Always Use a VPN with Kodi
We advise all readers to use a virtual private network when streaming content on Kodi. This is because some addons can allow access to content which is illegal in some countries. Because of this possibility, ISPs tend to take a dim view of Kodi traffic as a whole, and may indiscriminately leverage countermeasures against the streaming service’s users. That means even if you are using Kodi 100% legally, you could be a target of service interruptions, harshly written warning letters, and even fees or further legal action.
A VPN all but guarantees your security by encrypting all data flowing to and from your device, then obfuscating the source of that traffic with an anonymous IP address by routing it through a proxy server located elsewhere in the world. In simpler terms, no one can see who you are, where you are, or what it is you’re doing online when using a VPN to mask your connection.
IPVanish – The Best VPN for Kodi Bar None
No other VPN provider on the market does for Kodi users what IPVanish can. Your subscription will net you incredibly fast and consistent speeds, which is priority-on for streaming content. Also included in the bundle are 256-bit AES encryption and a massive proxy server network numbering over 950 in 60+ countries around the globe. If that weren’t enough, you’ll also enjoy an automatic kill switch, DNS leak protection, unlimited bandwidth, and perhaps most importantly a zero-log guarantee. All in all, IPVanish is tailor-made for use with Kodi, so don’t go without it!
IPVanish offers a 7-day money back guarantee which means you have a week to test it risk-free. Please note that Addictive Tips readers can save a massive 60% here on the IPVanish annual plan, taking the monthly price down to only $4.87/mo.
The Subzero Addon User Experience
Subzero sports a clean but quirky user interface, with each section of the main menu given a character icon from the Mortal Combat gaming franchise. It is an appropriate choice given that the top six items on the menu are focused on combative sport. Indeed you’ll find that Boxing, Kickboxing, Random MMA, Real Debrid MMA, Wrestling, and YouTube MMA are top of the list. Each of these sections open to a selection of relevant links, which include the latest big bouts along with plenty of documentary content to boot.
Below these six items, Subzero then morphs into a regular all-in-one addon. There is something for everyone here, with sections for Movies, Sports, TV Shows and Boxsets. These sections are well stocked with both recent and vintage content listed under various submenus, making each section a breeze to navigate.
The main menu ends with a fairly long list of mature cartoons, including Family Guy, American Dad, Archer, and King of the Hill. Why these shows aren’t compiled under their own main menu heading isn’t quite clear, but at the very least each series is stocked with every episode to date.

Subzero Pros and Cons
Subzero is very user friendly, with a great search feature and easy-to-navigate submenus. The content is of a generally good quality and if you are into combat sports or adult cartoons, there is plenty here for you to enjoy.
Subzero doesn’t seem to know whether it wants to be an all-in-one or a specialist addon. We did encounter a few broken links, and some sections also had fairly few links. Hopefully these issues can be tackled in the future.
Subzero is something of a hodgepodge of all-in-one entertainment and more specialized options. However, it’s quite common for Kodi users to make use of several addons at once, and you’ll find Subzero to be no slouch amongst the rest of your arsenal. For this reason, it’s quite popular these days, so give it an install and tap into a wealth of quality streams!
