How to Watch World of Dance Season 4 Online from Anywhere

World of Dance is returning for a fourth season, featuring the same Jennifer Lopez, Neyo, and Derek Hough as judges. We were wondering how exactly it’s best to watch World of Dance from anywhere in the world.

Watching World of Dance is fantastic because you get to see new talent, great dancers from all over the world, and are competing for $1 million. This time around, there’s going to be a little change in the way things go because the three judges won’t be available for the final stages of the competitions only, but also the auditions.

How to Watch World of Dance Season 4 Online

The fourth season of World of Dance will once more be available to watch NBC in the United States, starting with May 26th, 2020, at 10 PM EST.

If you want to watch the show from anywhere outside the United States, you’re going to need a little extra help because all these services are geoblocked, so you’ll easily be blocked once your IP shows you are elsewhere.

How can I watch World of Dance with a VPN?

Watching World of Dance with a VPN is super easy to do. In fact, VPNs themselves are easy to use because their UIs are straightforward and simplistic. Nonetheless, the tools are pretty complex, using encryption to protect your identity and hide your true IP. They route your Internet connection through their own servers, assigning you a new IP, so you appear to be anywhere you need to be; in our case, that’s the United States.

Our recommendation is to use ExpressVPN, which is such a great tool. It has thousands of servers in about a hundred countries.

Here’s what you need to do to watch World of Dance with ExpressVPN:

  • Start by signing up for ExpressVPN. They offer 3 months for free, so enjoy the time!
  • Then, once you’ve set up the apps, you can go and find a server located in the United States.
  • When the connection is established, the tool will display a notification to let you know.
  • You can then go ahead and stream World of Dance from whichever platform you want.

Is this method foolproof?

Unfortunately, no. VPNs can sometimes be tracked by platforms so you’ll still get blocked. Thankfully, this doesn’t often happen, especially with tools like ExpressVPN. Even so, if it does happen to you, you need to contact the ExpressVPN Support Team. Once you explain the situation, they’ll be more than happy to help you figure out which server to use to circumvent the problem altogether.

Editor’s note: ExpressVPN is our #1 choice for unblocking streaming services. Sign up for a year with ExpressVPN at $6.67 per month and get 3 months FREE. A 30-day money-back guarantee is included on all plans, so you can cancel any time and get your money back.

Can I use free VPNs?

That’s not really a good idea. Free VPNs may seem like a great way to save some money, but they’re putting you at risk. Numerous so-called VPNs have been discovered in app stores and found to be carrying trojans. Plus, even those that are clean from malware will still run slow because they have few servers and lots of users.

How can I watch World of Dance in the US?

In the US, the birthplace for World of Dance, the show is broadcast by NBC. There are multiple ways you can enjoy the live stream.

NBC Website

First off, there’s a live stream for NBC available on their official website. The live stream is only available if you log into an account to prove that you pay for a TV subscription where NBC is part of the list of channels you can regularly watch. The credentials can come from any of the local cable providers or even the live TV services that are available across the United States (we’ll get to those in a few seconds). We should point out, however, that World of Dance will be available to stream hours after the premiere on the NBC website, and, for a few days, the stream will be free to access. So, if you can wait a bit and avoid spoilers, you can go about this route too.

Live TV

Another way to watch NBC is through a live TV platform. The services that feature NBC are Hulu Live TV, fuboTV, Sling TV, YouTube TV, and Sling TV. All of these feature dozens of TV channels you can enjoy anytime you want with a myriad of devices.

All these services are restricted geographically, so you’ll need a VPN if you’re watching from abroad. Subscribing to these from abroad can also be a little bit tricky.

Where else can I watch World of Dance?

If you’re a fan of World of Dance from around the world, then you’re lucky if you live in the following countries where the show is available too.

How to watch World of Dance in Canada?

World of Dance fans in Canada are the luckiest because they get to watch the show at the same time it airs in the United States. The new season of World of Dance starts at 10 Pm EST on CTV. If you’re going to watch the show the day after it aired, you can enjoy it for free for a limited time. You will eventually have to log in to an account with credentials from your TV provider to enjoy older episodes.

If you’re abroad and want to enjoy the show on CTV, you’ll need a VPN and a Canadian server, which luckily, ExpressVPN has plenty of.

How to watch World of Dance from the UK?

Sadly, the new season of World of Dance won’t reach the United Kingdom anytime soon. The first season of the show is available several platforms, like Now TV or Hayu, but none of the rest. Plus, watching the show live is nearly impossible.

Our recommendation is to use ExpressVPN and pick a US server. By noon the day after the show airs, the episode should be available to stream on NBC for free.

How to watch World of Dance in Australia?

The fourth season of World of Dance will likely not be available in Australia anytime soon, either. The third season is airing on 9Go, but there’s no news about the fourth one so far. Plus, they’re still airing episodes from the season that ran last year, which is never good news for those looking to watch the latest episodes.

If you’re eager to watch Season 4 of World of Dance, we once more recommend using ExpressVPN to enjoy the show on NBC the day after the episodes air on TV.

What is World of Dance about?

World of Dance is a brand that many dance enthusiasts learned about many years ago as a worldwide competition for the best dancers. The shows are truly spectacular. Jennifer Lopez, who was a dancer before she ever was a singer or actress, is the show’s executive producers.

The dancers who want to win the $1 million prize go through auditions and perform in front of judges for the change to advance. The contestants are put into certain divisions, based on whether they dance alone or in groups, and based on their age. Youngsters under 18 years old can be in the Junior or Junior Team divisions, while dancers over 18 years of age can be in the Upper and Upper Team divisions. The Team divisions feature 5 or more group members.

The contestants go through multiple stages of the contest once they pass the original auditions – The Qualifiers, The Duels, The Cut, and the Divisions Final. The whole thing ends with the World Final well all four division champions go head to head.

The judges score each choreography in 5 categories – Performance, Technique, Choreography, Creativity, and Presentation. Each category is worth 20 points. There have only ever been a handful of perfect 100s over the previous three seasons, so we can’t wait to see whether we’ll get more this season.

The fourth season is bringing in a few changes from the format we’ve seen in the first three seasons. Originally, the contestants knew who they were competing against in The Duels, but that’s no longer going to be happening now, as the pairings will be kept a secret. The whole point is for the dancers to do their best rather than try to capitalize on what they perceive as weaknesses in their opponents. There’s also a redemption round where a guest judge picks two acts to compete for an extra spot in the semi-finals.

The World of Dance format has already been borrowed by other countries – the Philippines, Poland, Russia, and Thailand.

Final thoughts

World of Dance is a great show for those who love dance competitions. Watching the event can easily be done from all corners of the world, although it may not happen live for most people. As long as you can avoid spoilers and have ExpressVPN, you’ll overcome the problem easily and watch whenever you have the time.
