Dolphin Browser HD v5.0 Finally Released To The Android Market

One of the best mobile browsers on the market just got better. Receiving improvements in speed and UI through one private and three public betas, Dolphin Browser HD v5.0 has finally hit the Android Market. The browser is now ad-free, features a new and improved UI design, a Chrome-like Speed Dial page, improved performance and four new downloadable themes. Arguably one of the fastest web browsers available to Android users, Dolphin Browser HD has just gotten some nifty visual tweaks and significant functionality improvement that are going to help it widen its gap with other contemporary browsers even further.

You can now reopen previously closed tabs (Undo), navigate to your favorite and/or Most Visited websites sites with a single tab via the new Speed Dial page that appears upon opening a new tab. Improvements in the user interface include a redesigned Bookmarks bar with Quick Access to browser settings and essential features and four new themes downloadable from within the browser (Swipe right to Bookmarks bar, then select Quick Access > Themes) or directly from the Android Market.

Another handy new feature is the option to add subfolders of your own to the bookmarks list. To create a new bookmarks subfolder, navigate to the bookmarks list from Quick Access, hit Menu and tap New Folder. For those shifting over from the stock browser or the original Dolphin Browser, it includes the option to import bookmarks from the two. At first launch, the browser automatically asks you whether you would like to import bookmarks. Alternatively, you can do so later from Menu > Settings > Backup & Restore > Import Bookmarks.

Install (or upgrade to) the new version for free from the Android Market via the provided link.
