Get Gingerblur ROM For Atrix 4G

The Motorola Atrix 4G gained fame pretty quickly as the phone that was rooted before its actual official release and eversince then, the Android development for this device over at XDA-Developers has been pretty swift. One of the ROMs gaining quick popularity is the Gingerblur Beta 6. Although its still in its beta form, this Gingerbread style ROM is being used and tested out by many Atrix users on the forum.

Requirements:

• A rooted HTC Atrix 4G. (See how to root HTC Atrix 4G)
• (https://www.mirrorcreator.com/files/EFKANPL7/GingerBlur-Beta-6_0.zip_links) GingerBlur Beta 6 ROM
• USB drivers by Motorola (https://addictivetips.com/app/uploads/2011/02/Handset_USB_Driver_32_v4.9.0.zip) for 32-bit Windows | (https://addictivetips.com/app/uploads/2011/02/Handset_USB_Driver_64_v4.9.0.zip) for 64-bit Windows; restart PC after installation.

Procedure:

1. Download the GingerBlur Beta 6 zip.
2. Extract the zip anywhere.
3. Plug in your phone.
4. Enable USB Debugging : Menu > Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging
5. Go to the folder where the zip was extracted earlier and double click on ‘install.bat’
6. The process will take up to 15 minutes. Any Force Closes that you get on your device are expected and you shouldn’t worry about them.
7. At the first boot, choose ‘Launcher’ instead of ‘Setup’.
