How To: Root Motorola Droid X With One Click

Life gets easy for Motorola Droid X users as they can now root their devices with a relatively easy rooting guide. This guide is far simpler and easier than its predecessor which required you to have comprehensive rooting and command interface knowledge. Here is the step by step guide on rooting your Motorola Droid X easily.

UPDATE: This method is now outdated. By now, you should have Android 2.3 Gingerbread on your Droid X, and the rooting method for that is different. See our guide on rooting Motorola Droid X on Gingerbread.

All droidStep 1: Download DroidXRoot.zip and extract all folder on your desktop (Links Posted at the bottom of the post)

Step 3: Connect your Droid X to your computer.

Step 4: Launch the DroidXRoot.exe

Step 5: Just Click ROOT ME to root your Droid X

Note: If it doesn’t root and you are turning Bluetooth on and off, try turning WiFi on/off instead!
