Add Administrative Tools To Windows 7 Start Menu

Administrative Tools allow you to perform some common tasks like managing firewall settings, starting and stopping services, managing hard disk settings, etc.You can locate these administrative tools under the “System and Security” section of the Control Panel, but for quicker access, you have the option to add Administrative Tools to Windows 8 Start Screen and Windows 7 Start Menu.

Right click an empty area of the task bar and choose the Properties option.


The Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window will be displayed, here go to Start Menu tab and then click the Customize button.

Now the Customize Start Menu window will be displayed. Here locate the System administrative tools section and choose the Display on the All Programs menu and the Start menu option from the radio buttons.

Click OK and that’s it, now you will be able to access the Administrative Tools directly from the Start Menu.
