Digital Photo Frames are getting very popular nowadays, they can also be frustrating sometimes due to lack of functionality. If your photo frame supports a SD card, USB stick, or any other type of memory card, and doesn’t have the ability to stream photos directly from your computer over WiFi, you must be frustrated loading new photos(resizing and copying them manually).
Publish To Photo Frame is a free add-in for Windows Live Photo Gallery that adds the option to automatically batch resize and export photos. Just select the photos you want to copy to external flash drive and select Publish > More Services > Publish to Digital Photo Frame.
Now enter the destination where you want the photos to be published, select the resolution that is supported by your photo frame, and hit Publish. There are four resolutions given – 640×480, 800×600, 1024×768, 1280×1024.
Once all photos have been published to the external flash card, insert it in your photo frame and you are done. Using this method will allow you to both organize your photos and transfer them easily.
It is developed for copying images to photo frame but you can use it for any other purpose. You can also export images over the network to any other computer.
Windows Live Photo Gallery is available as part of Live Essentials which can run on Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, and Windows 7.
