Calendar G: Stylish Application For Managing Google Calendar Tasks

Calendar G is a cross-platform application for Google Calendar that comes with a visually appealing user interface. It provides easy to use options for managing your Google calendar reminders and updates. Calendar G is based on Adobe Air and has been built for both desktop and smartphone users. While the browser based user interface for Google Calendar can be confusing, Calendar G provides only a handful, yet neatly displayed menus, which make it quite easy to access and manage Google Calendar tasks.

Once Calendar G is launched, log in with your Google Account. While logging in, click free Use (after entering your login credentials). This will take you to the main interface, where five text boxes will appear. You can use these text boxes for adding reminders to Google Calendar. The calendar can be accessed directly from within the app by clicking View option. All dates with added notes are marked with dots. For example, if you have two reminders on a date , say 1st Nov, then it will be marked with two dots.

You can view the added events by selecting the respective date from the calendar.

In case you would like to change the color of G Calendar, click the Color option. The available colors include, blue, green, yellow, orange, pink and grey.

The color transformation is limited to the internal text background and is not applied to the whole interface. This however, may not be a downside, since the sleek and stylish black interface is quite eye-catching.

It is worth mentioning here that Calendar G is ad-supported, as it displays some prompts that redirect to the developer’s website. The ad-free version can be acquired by purchasing a $5 key from the developer’s website. Calendar G works on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Mac OS X, Linux and smartphones.
