Word 2010: Change AutoSave Time Interval

By default, Word 2010 saves document after every 10 minutes. If you’re working on some important document while experiencing constant power failures, you may want to lessen the Autosave time interval. Lets see how to change AuotoSave time interval.

To change AutoSave time interval, on File menu, click Options. Word Options dialog will appear, now from left side, select Save and from main window, under Save documents section, enter number of minutes after which you need to save the document automatically.

Now click OK to save document after specified amount of time.
