Abraxas Kodi Addon Installation Guide – Stream Documentaries Online

There are a few dedicated documentary addons available for Kodi, but most of them tend to be focused on a specific genre or area. Abraxas is different. This addon compiles an enormous range of documentaries from all sorts of different genres into a single convenient package. Today, we’ll discuss how to install and use the Abraxas Kodi addon!

Abraxas Addon Interface

Abraxas’s main menu is a concise one with just three tabs available. The first, 1 Click & Play Docs, opens up to a sub-menu which lists a variety of popular documentaries from people like David Attenborough, Louis Theroux, and Stacey Dooley as well as popular content from the BBC, IMAX and HBO. The next tab is called YouTube Docs and taps into one of the internet’s richest sources of documentary content, YouTube. This content is broken down by genre and there is plenty of content available to explore.

It is the third tab where Abraxas really comes into its own, however. Called Scraper Docs, this is where Abraxas compiles links to content it has scraped from other sources all across the internet. There are approximately 5,000 TV documentaries to explore here, alongside a whopping 37,000 documentary movies. The layout is a bit jumbled, with content listed by both genre and presenters in no particular order, but if you know what you are looking for, it is easy enough to track it down.

Before Installing Abraxas – Always Use a VPN with Kodi

We advise all readers to use a VPN when streaming content on Kodi. This is because some addons can allow access to content which is not permitted in some countries. Copyright holders and ISPs have taken a dim view of Kodi users regardless of whether or not they stream legally, and may lash out with unprovoked countermeasures including fines and interruption of service.

A VPN helps by encrypting all of your data and hiding your IP address. This ensures that absolutely no one will be able to tell what you’re streaming with Kodi, or even that your using the service in the first place. While we don’t condone illegal activity, we are staunch advocates for privacy and encourage all Kodi users to get a reputable VPN.

IPVanish – Best VPN for Kodi

Our recommended VPN for Kodi users is IPVanish. With 256-bit AES encryption and a strict no-logging policy, you can stream with complete confidence that your privacy is being protected. Enjoy access to a massive network of proxy servers located all over the world (great for bypassing geographic content restrictions) which offer unparalleled connection speeds–perfect for Kodi!

IPVanish offers a 7-day money back guarantee which means you have a week to test it risk-free. Please note that Addictive Tips readers can save a massive 60% here on the IPVanish annual plan, taking the monthly price down to only $4.87/mo.
