View Complete Statistics Of Excel 2010 Workbook

Excel 2010 provides a feature which shows every kind of stats regarding the workbook. It mainly includes Authors, last accessed & modified data, name ranges, date of creation, revision number, total editing time, etc.

To view statistics, click File menu to bring up Info backstage view, now in right sidebar, from Properties options, click Advance Properties.

This will open document properties dispersed in various tabs. From Statistics tab, you can have all creating, modification date related info, under Contents, you can view how many sheets are there in workbook, and list all the name ranges. Navigate through all the tabs to view other info as well.

  1. The total editing time is not available in Excel (it’s always blank). It was implemented in Word and the field was carried over for standardization.
