Programmer’s NotePad 2 – A Portable Text Editor For Developers

Once downloaded, extract the archive and run the executable file.

This tool supports different programming languages, you may choose the language in which you are going to develop your application from the drop down menu as shown below.

It offers a numerous set of features like exporting to HTML (using CSS) and RTF, in-file method/definition navigation, unlimited file size, quick search toolbar, syntax high lighting, support for Unicode files, User-defined schemes (XML), text wrapping, and more. You may perform common operations from the File menu like creating/opening new documents, saving them in different formats, converting text to upper or lower case, creating and saving the work spaces, printing, etc.
